VOS is the first Armed Forces charity to join the Triangle of Care programme!

We are proud to be the first Armed Forces charity to join the Triangle of Care (TOC) programme, led by Carers Trust

The TOC programme is a UK-wide initiative that champions unpaid carers and promotes their inclusion across health and social care settings.

Sharon Wemyss, Head of Care noted:

” This milestone reflects our deepening commitment to supporting not only veterans, but also the carers, partners, and spouses who walk alongside them. By embedding trauma-informed principles into our governance and service design, we are strengthening how we listen, respond, and co-create support that honours the lived experiences of those who care and advocate every day.”

Mary Patel, Triangle of Care Programme Lead at Carers Trust said:

“We are delighted that VOS has joined the Triangle of Care and committed to further strengthening support for veterans’ carers. Family members and friends play a vital role, offering support and unique insight into the needs of their loved ones. It’s fantastic to see VOS leading the way and championing carer support within this field.”

We’re looking forward to working closely with Carers Trust and our veteran families as we aim for our first TOC Star Award!
