PARTNERSHIP IN MIND
VETERANS’ PLACES, PATHWAYS AND PEOPLE PROGRAMME SOUTH-EAST REGION (VPPPSE)
Veterans Outreach Support is undertaking a Consultation on behalf of the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust (AFCFT) on the next round of the Veterans’ Places, Pathways and People Programme South-East (VPPPSE).
The objectives of the VPPPSE programme are as follows:
- Veterans can find the support they need and access mental health and wellbeing services activities that are interesting and relevant to them.
- When accessing activities, veterans are safe and can be supported to recover. They can be referred seamlessly to NHS or other services.
- Veterans at higher risk of suicide or other risks relating to mental ill health can receive better cross-sector support.
- Effective veteran-led projects are embedded in local care pathways supported by good partnerships.
- We will also have a strong focus on embedding collaboration and developing strong cross-sector collaboration and pathway delivery which will sustain beyond any grants awarded.
The first two years of the Partnership In Mind programme resulted in over 8000 interactions with veterans, with over 3000 individuals being supported.
As we move into the next phase of the programme, we are undertaking this consultation with both veterans and support organisations to ensure that we can achieve the maximum impact and sustainability across the region. You can help us by completing the survey below:
