Veterans Outreach Support is hugely grateful to Greenwich Hospital for their recent grant of £150,000.
Â
Greenwich Hospital has awarded Veterans Outreach Support with a grant of £150,000, comprising £50,000 a year for three years, towards the cost of providing clinical services. With this grant, VOS will be able to continue working to improve the mental health, wellbeing and resilience of veterans, serving personnel and their partners through the provision of clinical support.
Â
Veterans Outreach Support is a registered charity, which means we need a certain amount of funding to be able to deliver support to veterans and their partners in a variety of ways, including by providing clinical support to our service users. VOS helps veterans and current members of the Armed Forces by providing access to mental health support. This is often crucial for veterans, serving personnel and their family members, and VOS provides support in the form of cognitive, behavioural and emotional wellbeing therapies or treatments.
VOS is very grateful to Greenwich Hospital, as their support and funding allows us to provide life-changing clinical mental health support to veterans, serving members of the Forces and their partners.
Â
If you’re a veteran from the UK Armed Forces or the Merchant Navy (from any time of service) or a partner to one, VOS would love for you to join our community. We are here to offer our support: call us on 02392 731 767, visit an upcoming drop-in, or email admin@vosuk.org.
