A crazy evening of crazy golf ⛳️🌞🍔🍟⛳️ – Nostalgia Night

On 15th June VOS had a Nostalgia Night at the Treasure Island Crazy Golf course in Southsea, followed by burgers at Wimpy. Here’s a summary of the evening:

What a splendid, fun-filled evening we had at the Pirate-themed crazy golf course down at the funfair at Clarence Pier. We were twelve in number and split into two groups to tackle the nine hole course.

It takes a while for six people to successfully complete the task, especially with the laughing and raucous comments bandied about, but succeed we eventually did. There were even several ‘holes in one’!

The evening was perfect, the sun still shining with the merest hint of a breeze; what better way to spend a summer’s evening. It reminded me of the many crazy golf courses I have played on, but oddly never this one and I can’t imagine why.

Afterwards, a takeaway meal of Wimpy burgers, fries and cold drinks were consumed with great relish standing outside next to the Wimpy Bar overlooking the water, with the sun setting it looked quite perfect.

Once again the event was thoroughly enjoyed by all and from the comments overheard, a repeat of this evening would be much appreciated. Our thanks to Pips who has yet again organised a grand time out, and to VOS for all the continued support which is so valued by us all.

THANK YOU ⛳️🌞🍔🍟⛳️
