$25,000 Donation from The Eisner Foundation to Boost VOS’s Life-Changing Services

Veterans Outreach Support (VOS) are thrilled to share the news of a generous $25,000 donation provided by The Eisner Foundation.

The US-based foundation, established by the Eisner family, has very strong links with our Portsmouth community, through the city’s football club and through its support of local, community charities.

This generous donation will be instrumental in sustaining our vital mental health, welfare, and wellbeing services for our local veterans, their partners, spouses and carers in Portsmouth, Gosport, Isle of Wight and the wider Solent region.

VOS offers comprehensive services, including tailored psychological therapies, wellbeing workshops, engaging social activities, and welfare support including helpful signposting and guidance on housing, pensions and employment. We also collaborate closely with statutory and third-sector partners to ensure seamless, joined-up support – guaranteeing that no one who needs help is overlooked.

Ian Millen, VOS CEO said:

“We extend our heartfelt thanks to The Eisner Foundation for their extraordinary generosity. This significant $25,000 donation is pivotal in enabling VOS to continue delivering life-changing mental health, welfare, and wellbeing services for veterans, their partners, spouses and carers in our local community. This support ensures that those who have served and those who stand beside them, receive the care, guidance and sense of belonging they truly deserve.”

Trent Stamp, CEO, The Eisner Foundation said:

“With its comprehensive approach to wellbeing, Veterans Outreach Support has built a legacy of true commitment to those who have served. We are proud to support these efforts so that no veteran or their family are left behind.”
