Veterans Outreach Support has some great news to share!
The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) and Greenwich Hospital have awarded VOS a generous grant of £81,000 and we are incredibly grateful for their continued support.
This grant will play a crucial role in continuing to provide life-changing wellbeing and welfare support to veterans and their families here in Portsmouth, the Isle of Wight, Gosport, Fareham and the Solent area.
RNRMC and Greenwich Hospital are working in partnership to deliver services to those leaving the Royal Navy and their dependents. They understand that whether serving, former serving or family members – many members of the Forces community can find themselves in need of help and support. By working with a wide range of organisations these charities help the wider Naval community get what they need, whatever their circumstances.
RNRMC was created in 2007 to support the needs of sailors, marines and their families for life. They aim to help create a world where these individuals and their families are valued and supported, not only while in service but as veterans of the UK Naval Service.
Through their fundraising events and grant-making, they can provide financial support, help, advice and essentials to other charities and people in need, making a real difference in the Naval Service family community.
Please visit The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) website to find out more about their great work or check out their YouTube Channel.
Founded in 1694, the Greenwich Hospital (a unique Crown Charity) provides support to serving and former serving Royal Navy and Royal Marine personnel and their families. It works with charities and organisations to fund projects that improve health and well-being and empower people to realise their potential.
The Greenwich Hospital funds grants and supports well-established naval charities and small projects to help them get off the ground. They also team up with other charities, like they have done here with the RNRMC, to provide grants and welfare to organisations just like VOS.

Veterans Outreach Support is a registered charity, which means we need a certain amount of funding to be able to deliver support to veterans and their partners in a variety of ways, including in the form of cognitive, behavioural and emotional well-being therapies or treatments.
If you’re a veteran from the UK Armed Forces or the Merchant Navy (from any time of service) or a partner to one, VOS would love for you to join our community. We are here to offer our support: call us on 02392 731 767, visit an upcoming drop-in, or email wellbeing@vosuk.org
